Also, Foghorn are also not only one of my favorite bands, but are good friends as well. My brother-in-law was the recording engineer on several of their albums, and we have picked and grinned together on numerous occasions (a good dollop of whiskey helps!).

Saw Dirk play tonight with Eric Bibb in Chicago at The Old Town School - awesome performance by all involved! He played banjo, fiddle, and accordion. Not a bad note to be heard! :-)

Regretfully, I didn't hit "record" button properly and missed video-ing you 3 guys. By the time I figured out my camera, all I got was a few seconds of your collaboration with Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill. I did capture you with the Mystery All Stars in clips I took at Dun na Sead. I know the Fiddle Fair was videotaping too so you are preserved somewhere. I do have photo stills of all 3 of you.

I'm working on it. I'm a nurse not a video technician so this digital world is a tangled mystery to me. But this musical experience is so worth sharing that I'll keep trying.
